I graduated high school in Mongolia, in the summer of 2018. By the time of my graduation, I had already applied for Kaohsiung Medical University, and I came to Taiwan in September of that year.
I realized that many things were different than my expectation. When I first came out of the airport, I immediately encountered the hot and humid air. At the time, it was very surprising to me because I did not expect that kind of weather in autumn. I also felt like the sunset was really early. It was interesting to be in an environment that was different from what I was used to. Although it gets very hot sometimes, I’ve gotten used to the weather here. There are many other things I like about Taiwan such as transportation, tourist attractions, food, the high quality of education, etc. The Taiwanese people are very welcoming too.
I am very happy to be studying at KMU. I think it is a great environment to study and pursue a higher degree. My experience studying here has been excellent, and very enjoyable so far.
