The first Taiwan-Somaliland jointly developed healthcare information system, Somaliland Health Information System, assisted by Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital, has officially launched.

This system not only uses the latest international disease classification system but also provides outpatient medical information services almost identical to those in Taiwan, including real-time queue calling, appointment scheduling, and consultation order. This bilateral cooperation not only brings innovative healthcare information to local people but also helps to enhance the quality of medical services in Somaliland and other East African countries.
